I am entering my sixth year of teaching math in secondary schools. I have taught 7th grade, 8th grade, 9th grade, and 10th grade math, and I enjoy working with middle school students. I decided to become a math teacher because I struggled with math in my youth but found that I enjoyed helping others understand the same concepts I had struggled with and that I was often able to relate to students who struggle and help them think about concepts in a variety of ways until we found something that worked for them. I am happy to work with students and parents to ensure that students are experiencing success in math.
I have two children of my own that are preschool age. My hobbies include tap dancing, reading, and all things Harry Potter related.
