Jump Start and New Student Orientation are NEXT week! Can you believe it?! Keep reading below for more information.

This summer at Dixon we will be holding a Jumpstart beginning August 2nd and ending on August 5th (Monday-Thursday). This will begin at 9:30 and will end at 11:30 daily. They will be taught a short math and English lesson.  We will tour the school, play get to know you games, and have a short lesson on skills they will need in middle school. There will be a bus for students that qualify.  If you need a bus route access the following website, https://www.infofinderi.com/ifi/?cid=PCSD1CX16HAYK put in your address and choose Dixon, to find out the time and location of the bus stop.  If you would like your student to participate in Dixon’s Jumpstart, please fill out the form below to register them:

In addition to Dixon Jumpstart, we will also have a new student orientation day on Friday August 6th. This is for all students who will be new to Dixon. For new student orientation, there will be two sessions and your student can choose which one they would like to attend but do not need to attend both.  The first session is from 9:30-11:30 and the second session is from 12:30-2:30.  There will not be bussing for new student orientation.  Students will meet in the auditorium to begin new student orientation.  If your student would like to attend new student orientation, they do not need to register, they can just show up on August 6th and will be assigned a group.

Esperamos que usted y su estudiante hayan tenido unas vacaciones de verano agradables y relajantes.

Este verano Dixon tendrá un programa nuevo llamado Dixon Jumpstart.

Este programa comenzará el 2 de agosto y terminará el 5 de agosto. (solo una semana de lunes a jueves).

Los estudiantes vendrán a Dixon Jumpstart durante 2 horas cada día.

Dixon Jumpstart comenzará a las 9:30 a.m. y terminará a las 11:30 a.m. todos los días.
Se les enseñará a los estudiantes lecciones cortas de matemáticas e inglés.

Además de Dixon Jumpstart, tendremos una orientación para estudiantes nuevos el viernes 6 de agosto.

Habrá dos sesiones de orientación para estudiantes nuevos, su estudiante puede elegir a cuál le gustaría asistir, pero no necesita asistir a ambas.

La primera sesión es de 9: 30 a.m. – 11: 30 a.m.
La segunda sesión es de 12: 30 – 2: 30 p.m.
No habrá transporte en autobús para la orientación de nuevos estudiantes. Los estudiantes se reunirán en el auditorio para comenzar la orientación para nuevos estudiantes. Si su estudiante desea asistir a la orientación para estudiantes nuevos, no es necesario que se registre, solo puede presentarse el 6 de agosto y se le asignará un grupo.
