Dixon’s Latinos en Action took a field trip to the Utah State Capitol. They met with Representative Thurston, Representative Judkins, and Senator Escamilla. In addition to touring the building and seeing our democratic process, our LIA students were able to discuss a smoke free community platform with these state policymakers.

Los Latinos en Acción de Dixon hicieron una excursión al Capitolio del Estado de Utah. Se reunieron con el Representante Thurston, la Representante Judkins y la Senadora Escamilla. Además de recorrer el edificio y ver nuestro proceso democrático, nuestros estudiantes de LIA pudieron discutir una plataforma para una comunidad libre de tabaco con estos legisladores estatales.
