Some 40 students were invited to participate in a waffle party this week to recognize the hundreds of pages of reading they did over the summer. These students read at least 1200 pages each during the summer, and completed a summer reading log of their progress. Mrs. Moody cooked waffles for the students, and they had a fun time working in groups to match quotes to superhero movies and playing pictionary.
Eight students who had read 3,000 pages or more received a book from Mrs. Moody. These students were Ty Larsen, Katelynn Miller, Lexi Shipley, Lydia Petersen, Jillian Whiteley, Connor Williams, Libby Jaynes and Kaitlyn Post.
Well done, Panthers! Congratulations to all of you– we hope to see you continue reading during the school year!
